You can use our vulcanisables labels or vulcanetas and vulcanisable tape to mark products vulcanised by your company.

The products will be marked with logos and/or the text you require for the end customer: your trade name or your distributor’s trading name, product characteristics, homologation regulations, instructions for use etc., ensuring your product arrives safely at its destination.

VULCANISABLE LABELS (VULCANETAS)

Our labels adapt to all autoclave or compression-vulcanised products, over a wide range of rubbers:

VULCANISABLE TAPE

This consists of a film with the texts and/or designs to mark a product during the vulcanising process. The film is either removed or left on the product after vulcanising, depending on the application.

• Premium quality vulcanisable tape, minimum two colours, fully compatible with all rubbers, mid-range price, high density, removable film, can be used on fabrics: polyester, cotton, kevlar, nylon … (e.g. SAE 100R5 tube).

DRIVE BELTS OR V-BELTS

Our range of marking materials provides a solution for every problem. We offer three standard materials based on a number of carrier films and different film thicknesses. Our materials may be supplied in continuous reels, or as sheets cut to the length of your choice.

Samples must be tested and appraised before proceeding with full-scale production, to ensure the film operates satisfactorily in the process.

• PP V-belts, thicknesses 50, 36 and 25 microns.
  May be used for temperatures up to 170ºC (+ 338ºF).
  The process must be completely free of steam or water at high temperatures.
  Available in continuous reels or cut to length.

• TA V-belts, thickness 75 microns.
  May be used for temperatures up to 170ºC (+ 338ºF).
  This film may be used when there is steam in the manufacturing process.
  Available in continuous reels.

• Paper V-belts, thickness 45 microns.
  Normally used in high and low temperature vulcanising boilers. Our variation on silicone paper gives the belt a matt finish.
  Available cut to length.

• PVF V-belts, thickness 25 microns.
  May be used for temperatures in excess of 170ºC (+ 338ºF). PVF film may be used when there is steam in the manufacturing process. Available in continuous reels.

Vulcanisation Temperatures

Our labels for rubber are manufactured with a number of carrier films, mixtures of polymers and other base materials in order to adhere to the conditions of the process and the requirements of plant and tools.

• Vulcanisable labels (vulcanetas) for dry-heat vulcanising below 170º C by compression or transfer mould.

• Vulcanisable labels (vulcanetas) for dry-heat vulcanising over 170º C by compression or transfer mould.

• Vulcanisable labels for wet-heat vulcanising under 160º C by autoclave.

• Vulcanisable labels for dry-heat or steam vulcanising below 200º C by compression, transfer mould or autoclave. The carrier film remains attached to the surface layer, and must remain in place after the process.

When the base material (a pre-vulcanisation part or cover) has no steady support or a cavity in the mould, our labels can be arranged on a "cushion" base to keep the label in place. A large number of our cushion labels are used in this way.
